New for Sumer 2026! This slow-fermented sourdough loaf is filled with toasted coconut and sliced almonds, creating a warm, lightly sweet flavor with a soft crunch in every bite.  The toasted coconut brings a gentle richness while the almonds add depth and texture, making this loaf feel both comforting and a little unexpected.

 

Beautiful on its own, lightly toasted with butter, or drizzled with honey, this loaf was made for slow summer mornings and quiet evenings.  Rustic, fragrant, and baked in small batches. 

 

My boules are never shy - every one of them weighs in over 2 pounds.

  • INGREDIENTS

    Flour, water, toasted coconut flakes, sliced or slivered almonds, and salt. 

     

  • ALLERGEN ALERT

    All breads are made with wheat and baked in a home kitchen where nuts and other allergens are also used.  I do my best to keep ingredients separate, but I cannot guarantee that any loaf of completely free from cross-contact.

  • THE PINERY PICK-UP & INSTRUCTIONS

    Orders are baked fresh and available for pickup by arrangement.  Exact pickup details will be provided after order confirmation.  Loaves are best within 2-3 days; to keep longer, freezing is recommended.

  • PRE-ORDER SCHEDULE

    Orders placed by 7:00 am will be ready for pick-up the following day and placed in the front porch cabinet at 2pm for you to pick-up at your leisure.

    Orders placed after 7:00 am will be included in the next day's bake schedule and ready the day after that.
