Halloween Mixed Media Shadow Box

Service Description

Join me in my home studio for a cozy, guided mixed media class where each child will create their own adorable "Halloween Shadow Box" No experience needed - I'll walk students through the project step by step, as they layer paint, paper, and dimensional details to create a unique 6x6 piece of Halloween art. Students will be encouraged to add their own creative touches. Along the way, we'll discover the work of artist Joseph Cornell, whose imaginative mixed-media boxes transformed ordinary objects into tiny worlds of story, mystery, and wonder. We'll look at how he used layering, found objects, and unexpected combinations.
