Come spend a magical tactile afternoon discovering how wool is processed and turned into thread and fiber arts. In this small group workshop children will follow the journey of wool from sheep to usable fiber. They'll touch different types of fleece, see how it's washed and prepared using real fiber tools for art and spinning. This is a gentle, curiosity led introduction to traditional fiber arts and slow craft - perfect for kids who love animals, making things and learning how real materials become useful beautiful objects. Children take home a their own handmade grapevine wool nesting ball and a little bag of fiber from our group made art batt.
